good start man, ya my wife was happy too when i had all the fairings sold hahaha. keep us updated. what size is the projector you bought? i want projector headlights so bad - and i bought a j30 headlight (dual projectors) - but they just stick out way too damn far...

con... pming you now with a link, the one im getting is only 7cm long, and only about a inch of that will be exposed

So its beautiful weather outside and instead of being out and riding your "perfect" bike, you are going to stay inside all summer and convert it.

lol you crack me up z

Def going to be like nothing else on the road thats fo sho

lol na bro, rain all week here.... perfect week and a half to have it apart....

itll be rid able again end of the week hopefully (as soon as my new signals and mirrors get in)

plans for tonight.... chop ignition hole off top triple, give it to buddy for pc

also finish ignition relocation bracket

make a new aluminum cluster/tip sensor mount and test fitment

going to work on some photo shop tonight and see what you guys think about how to chop my lowers, plan for now is to paint them satin black

so look forward to some pics, as well as some photoshopped pics for opinions on choppy the belly pan

so a hour or so later and a lot of dremel disks lol



top tripple has been modified, this is how the cluster will sit when its all done




im working on stripping the paint off the triple, and smoothing the little bumps left, so i can give it to my buddy for some powder coat...

relocation of the ignition didnt go so good tonight, so hopefully tomorrow

but now of to photoshop

I'm digging the progress. Not sure I'm a fan of that bottom fairing though. I feel like it needs to be bigger for some reason.

yeah I think that will be the best bet. That one reminds me of the bottom fairing on SV's and I just hate those for some reason :P

so didnt do a TON tonight....

it was time for some top triple stripping and smoothing.... i dremeled off all the casting lines... and stipped the previous coating

and gave it to my buddy who is powder coating it for me tonight with the ignition space removed

also decided to pull my front fender i think it look 1000000 times better without it

please keep in mind im a young poor guy haha so everything i fab i have to do by hand, as i have no machines or air equipment



casting marks are gone

my baby girl wanted the camera haha
