1994 CBR600F2 streetfighter...
small update....

The bar end mirror is one off ebay, cost me £15. the headlight is a bog standard job from ebay too, which must have cost £5 this time last year.
As a matter of fact, yes, i was. Only ever happened at 40mph or over due to the air going straight to the airbox (took the inlet tubes off to fit wiring under the box).
I've put them back on again.
I also had a K&N air filter on it which seemed to cause it to bog down, so i've stuck an OEM one on. i've not had a chance to ride it yet as i'm waiting to get my new tyre fitted, but hopefully it's sorted now.
All i need to do for now (without spending much) is to replace the front tyre (still got about 1k on it), replace the bars and replace the C&S. Brakes etc are fine so i'm not worried about any of that.
Heading down to the Leeds custom and classic bike show next week which should be interesting!

There was a thread on this over on customfighters not too long ago, how exactly did you do it?
Looks sweet mate! I am 16, and have just got my CBR 600 F2 1993 for £370, lil project ready for when im 16, just bought a full suzuki SV650 rear end, but finding it hard to get a single sided swinging arm thats suitable and cheap, any ideas?
Looks great bud, will be following closely!

very simple. the two vent tubes that come off the carbs in between 1-2 and 3-4 need to be connected via a t-connector and then I just drilled a slightly smaller hole in the air box and ran a tube off the T into the air box under the air filter. simple and very effective.
well i don't seem to be having any issues with the air intake.
Bike is now running better than it ever has done which is great.
I'm still getting used to how light the front end is. it just wants to left every time i open the throttle!
quite happy how it is now..
Going forward, i'll need to sort some issues before changing the cosmetic side of things. The clutch needs done, and the valves are starting to tap a bit, so i'll need to do the clearances and sync the carbs.
After that it's a chain and sprockets, wheel bearings, front tyre, wiring for the indicators and also for the headlight needs sorted, but once i've done all that, it'll be time for the R6 tail and a fresh lick of paint!
Cheers
