Not much of an update, just a few exhaust clips of it. People asked about the Delkevic on there so here it is.

This is a cold run of it. Bike hadn't warmed up quite yet.

And a good helmet cam with sound clip.

Bike sounds like it's running great. I'm thinking that's the kind of can I want to use on my bike - you just made up my mind for me. It sounds amazing.

Thanks man glad I could help! It's also a dark grey carbon fiber can if that matters much to you..?

They make this can in a longer version which just makes it a little deeper of a tone but I love this one because it's nice and throaty til I crack it open above 5k.

I kind of want to bring the can up a little higher and tuck it closer to the bike instead of having it so low. Maybe trying to find a mid or high height mid pipe from somewhere and trying it out.

The new LED bar showed up today. Going to be replacing the cheapo headlight with this.

Fits the forks perfectly. Going to be putting it in the same spot as the headlight thats on it now. Fabbing up a sort of clamp bracket for each fork to mount it to.

I bet that light bar adds a LOT of light at night, doesn't it?

How big is the rear you have on there now? I thought for sure that new tire was bigger than a 180.

Nah they are both 180s. I left em stock because that's how I have rode this bike and am used to it.

And yes te light bar is awesome. It's a nice crisp white light instead of te dingy yellow. And also, the light doesn't fluctuate with the RPMs. Since it takes such a low amount of amps, it runs at full power even with the bike off.

Welp.. Thanks to the lovely Alaskan drivers (I should also note that it was a woman... ehemmm....)

I was in a Hit and Run. Bike was hit at about 35mph from the right side and I laid it down onto the left side. I ended up more ontop of the bike sliding down the road. Somehow ended up on my feet running after it before it slide into the grass. She did not stop.

But luckily I had some small sliders on that took the brunt of the force.

Dented and scraped the paint off the clutch side of the tank.

Scraped the coating off the clutch cable, radiator hose, and powdercoating off the frame (which is what upsets me most.)

Bent the throttle side clip on. (I rode it home like this, then bent it back as best I could.)

Ordered a new rear seat for the bike, since the old one was broken due to the accident.

Riding season finally opened up for military riders so I joined up with Alaska Superbikes again to start off the season right. (Note: My bike is not in all of these pics, as I did not make every run. Just sharing some pics)

Loving the new Continentals. The ContiMotions are much better than their old tire that I had on it.

At the top of the mountain at Hatchers Pass. The Fuel Pump quit working. Then I found this mess from the previous owner. MASKING TAPE... You've got to be kidding me. Did a quick fix and rode it back the 70 miles or so, and went through every wire on the bike.

Then I noticed this on one of my last inspections. Chain is getting super stretched and getting flat spots. So I ordered new sprockets and a chain to match. Black on black.

Tore down the old setup and replaced with the new ones. Also brought them back more from the stunt setup to a more comfortable position.

Damn - that sucks. I hate to hear about people going down, but then a hit and run? That angers me. I'm glad to hear you're okay! That looks like a cool group to ride with - there's a lot of pretty scenery and great roads in Alaska!

Glad the bike is getting sorted out - but that pisses me off about the hit and run...

Again - glad you're okay!

Yes, Alaska has a KILLER bike scene actually. Just sucks when the season ends early. But during the summer, we can ride all day and night since its sunny til like 2 am! And the roads are awesome as well, when the gravel and dirt is washed away from the winter months.

But yes, hit and runs are horrible. They tried to come into traffic from the right, behind the truck I was following. I'm guessing they couldn't see me (I am giving them the benefit of the doubt here) and they assumed there was room. But I KNOW they heard me hit. And HAD to have seen me go down and sliding next to their car into oncoming traffic! I was fine, and rode the bike away. Just pissed and upset more than anything. Also, didn't get to put my bike into the Alaska Bike Show because of the damage.

I wouldn't have won, but still... lol
