Cool, will do. I'm thinking I won't get up to the mountains on a bike this year. I gotta tear down a few things this winter before I do any heavy riding. I WILL ride that next year, though. It sounds awesome.

Why wait til summer? Me and a friend have riden to deals gap and ashville area twice in the last month from columbia, sc.... Lol, no one on here EVER meets up. Been trying to meet up with peeps on here for like the past two years. Hell, I'm headed up to ashville on the parkway in a couple weeks. Who wants to ride?...


Oh, Conrice, you have any extra footpegs from that buell laying around? I'm looking to get some to put on my sv1000. They bolt right up and That's what the sv guys been putting on there bikes to lower the pegs by 1 1/2. I'm looking for lower pegs. For comfort and touring.

Sorry I don't have any rider pegs for you... That's a cool little mod though. I've been toying with the idea of building an SV for my next bike - I'll keep that in mind.

 

You know mine is for sale on craigslist. With all the weight reduction mods its at 435 lbs wet. I put it on a brand new calibrated scale at work on the loading dock. It flicks around like light as a feather. Havnt dyno'ed it yet. PO is saying 130 ish rear wheel hp. It feels around 125 ish to me. It definatly is a torque monster. With a yosh 3/4 system,pc3 and tre mod, it scoots. Hetre is some pics of the new CF exhaust I put on. Putting on a rear cowl next.
