Unfortunately, that rider didn't make it. He was a fairly new rider and it happened in Brazil a few year back. It was even on TV.

As many others have said, that outcome was completely avoidable trough proper riding education and especially if he knew the dangers of target fixation.

Someone said that it seems that he had passed over something that made him go wide because the truck was not even in the line of sight. Not true. It is not in the line of sight of the rider behind filming, but it was to the rider that crashed.
It was in the exact moment that the truck appears in front of him that he stood the bike up.

RIP brother.

it looks like the road is haunted, you'll see the black shadow if u pause the video between the bike and truck.

A tough one , exiting the turn he let off the throttle maybe grabbed some brake
stood her up and ended up in the oncoming traffic ..... he had no chance

Good motivation for people to be out there working their leans and turning skills
on an ongoing basis ......... a use it or lose it scenario if you will.

Always focus on your exit point the bike will follow

Suspended in 7 seconds of video. Leaning away from the Household Expenditure Survey corner. Big no no. Lean into the turn not away from it. However, the use of positioning in the streets, let your body faster so just be careful. Just because you can do one hundred and twenty mph turn, does not mean you should...
