Its not doing 70 by the time you get it to balance point.......Normally I bring it up about 45 and by 55 its up there. I do have a -1+2 gearing so its a tad bit easier to get it up there. Why are you trying to clutch wheelies up that slow and ride them out for a long time. I do power wheelies on the highway so there is no need to be going that slow. I know what I'm doing and what im talkin about. Im not going to hit the highway doing 20MPH in a 65MPH zone.

You Sure do "know"
As for "The Right Way".........Please, there is no "Wrong Way" to pull a wheelie as long as you get it done in an orderly fassion.

Dont try putting words in my mouth if you dont know what you are talkin about.
We just have a bunch of whiny babies that cant take it when someone else opposes them and can do what they do at higher speeds without using their techniques. SO what if I cover more ground than you do.

I said a while back in another post that I will do them my way and you can do them your way so F*ck Off...and thats all.

Have a good night.

Your an idiot dude. How is there not a wrong way to pulling a wheelie? Do you see ANY stunter doing power wheelies? And yes if you power it up going 45 your not hitting bp to at least 60 thats why power wheelies are WRONG your accelarating through the whole pulling it up process when you could just drop the clutch and shoot right up there. Thats why power wheelies are alot more dangerous cause you are having to almost floor it to get it up and if you dont let off in time your ****ed. Go ahead do them your way all you want man its not hurting me just quit telling others there is no right way to do it and power wheelies are just as good cause then they will start listening to your nonsense. Maybe you should put that pic back up of your bike and sissy 12 bar you never have scraped it might help [8D]

I'm so sorry to hurt your feelings man. settle down. Go ahead and do your thing and I'll do mine. I don't recall ever saying that I was doing 20 down the highway and clutching them. 90% of the time we're on backroads with little to no traffic to worry about, but you can keep on doing your power wheelies down the busy highway. I don't need all of the attention to feel better about myself, but thats just me. I'm just looking out for my fellow rider trying to let them know that this is not the way. And I wasn't putting words into your mouth and I DO know what I'm tlking about. Try using your clutch, your not going to hurt it that much, but if your that conserned about it, don't ride the bike cause everytime you take off from a stop your taking life away from the clutch. Listen man I used to power wheelie standups and sitdowns, but there is a better way and I was tought by other guys on this forum and watching stunt riders. I'm not claiming to be the best, or even close for that matter but I don't want to see or hear of people getting hurt by listening to what you are saying. Its ok to learn in 1st gear doing power wheelies to get the feel for the bike coming up, I don't exect for everyone to be able to clutch a wheelie from a stop or a 15mph roll right away, you have to get the feel of the front tire coming off of the ground and a small power wheelie will give you the feel. It can also get you hurt if you give it too much throttle and don't let off in time, thats why you have to get the feel for the rear brake. Alright thats it, keep trying to make me feel bad for my posts, but I will tell you to go to www.stuntlife.com and tell everyone there that your power wheelies are better than a clutch wheelie and we'll see where that one goes. Sorry if I'm the one that seems to know more than you, but I'm not a pro so go ask the guys on stuntlife and see what they say, since in fact they are pros

I can do clutched wheelies. I choose not to because I have more control with power wheelies. I have the skill myself to do it and have taught other people around here how to wheelie and they do just fine. As for the highways, you would be lucky to find 15 cars in a 15 mile stretch around here.

Im not posting anymore on this. We have to many whiny babies that only have 1 view on things. Its like arguing with a wall.
As I said. I will do them my way and you can do them yours.

Oh well, sometimes people never understand no matter how much info you throw at them. I just wanted to clear up to the newbies that are attempting wheelies that power wheelies are not the bast way, so you can go out and try both and make the decision for yourself. But anyone thats been doing this stuff will tell you to learn to clutch it.

PS-Sorry for jacking your thread all up dude or affending anyone

Cool wheelies, I'd like to be able to do that one day

However, aside from the no helmet/traffic stuff people have already mentioned, generally speaking it is not a good idea to film your speedo. I mean you've got hard evidence of yourself pulling wheelies and doing 140+ with other cars on the road. In California those can be met with severe punishment, as in heavy fines, loss of license, impounded vehicle and jail time. Just my 2cents FWIW.
