Great work Jared. I remember helping my brother rebuild his Thundercat engine after laying it down and cracking the case at the water pump. After having to swap from a completely different case, it's a proud feeling starting it up for the first time after you had just been holding the crankshaft in your hands two days ago!

Two quick questions for ya:

1. Do you have an aftermarket rear shock? Most of the ones I've seen, including mine, are yellow...
2. What did you use to make the small pad for your solo seat cowl?

Hey, I REALLY enjoyed reading through this thread. You tackled something which I think the vast majority of us would have walked away from. Amazing achievement - Well done!

Huh???
Yeah, I'm not quite sure about that one, man.
I'm just not 100% on him being a spammer. His last 7 posts have made little to no sense, but I'm not sure if it's just a language barrier thing.
(like it's possible that he thinks you own a shop that fixed the bike? )
It's up to you, Jared. Ban or not?

BTW, it sucks you didn't join us down at deal's gap. I think you would've had fun.

Oh, and how's she runnin'?

Wow that's an awesome job, I know what you are talking about when you do it with your own hands. I felt the same thing when I removed a few things of the engine of my bike.
Anyway, congrats and it would be an honor to ride your bike

I say BAN!! hahahaha

Bike is running great!! I've logged right around 11,000 miles already since I got her back together, and covered North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and Maryland without even so much as a hiccup. Still riding her to work each and every day and she's running like a dream

When were you guys at Deals Gap?? I would have loved to join you.... been there a couple times recently. I wish I would have known, I would have run over there and met you guys. Definitely let me know the next time you head out that way!
