NHRA races in Joliet (pics)
Hey guys, was at the NHRA races friday night in Joliet and thought you might want to see some pics. We had tickets to a skybox and passes into Brandon Bernstein's pit and into the Jagermeister Pro Stock tent. Free food and booze all night!! Had a great time and here's some pics!!
Here's the lineup waiting for the second set of races.

The Bud top fuel car in the pit. They were rebuidling it right in front of us.

Another shot of the car in the pit. You can see the intake manifold, the valve cover, and the head on the table.

Here's crew chief Tim Richards, Kim Richards, and mechanic Adam Tupper.

Another one of the car in the pit.

The blower and intake. Look at that hunk of Carbon Fiber!!!!

Brandon and Kenny Bernstein getting ready to put some new graphics on the car.

One of me with Brandon.

The Jagermeister Pro Stock car. This tent had the best food. They flew a guy in from Virginia to cook barbeque. They even had a Jager machine right in the tent for shots!!! Nothing like drag racing, ribs, pulled pork, and ice cold shots of Jager!!!

My friend hugging the Jager Team Bus. We had a couple shots in us at this point.

Here's one of two top fuel cars just launching at the start of the race. I'm amazed I got this shot, considering how fast the cars are and how slow my reaction time was due to the Jager.

All in all we had a great time. I actually had a good conversation with a guy who was getting licensed for Alchohol funny cars. He just had his license signed off by John Force. He told me the alcohol funny cars run about 980 horsies PER CYLINDER!!!!
