Default New Vid Cam

My new video camera came today. Its a Oregon Scientific ATC3K.

Here are some pix of it n my Ram mount on the bike.

And heres a test run vid. Its a lil shakey cuz my base of my mount needs tightened up some. And the sun was setting so its a tad dark.

Cool man. I have the 2k OS cam instead of the 3k you have. I have mine mounted to the tank. I don't really like the view it gives though because it's not adjustable. A helmet cam would be best for me.

I have a ram mount. It has tons of adjustablity. This cam with a butt load of straps n other mounts too.

are there any good camsfor night rides? we do most of our riding at night and i've been wanting to get a helmet cam. but with some being 4-500 smackers. I know you get what you pay for but i can sacrafice some quality for a few bills.

a cam with night recording ablity wont be cheap. The one I got I paid $134 for n it came with a 4GB sdcard, numerous mounts n straps. Regularly goes for $174 - $200. This model just came out in July n is campared to n liked by many as well as a VholdR a $300+ vid camera.

Mine came with a bunch of straps and stuff too, but I only use like two out of the 100 haha.

Yeah, you can have the adjustability, but say somebody rams you from the side. You won't have enough time to reach over and adjust the view. I'm looking into mounting a cam inside my helmet. Might be able to do it for about the same price I paid for my cam.
