Techically speaking, it isn't being activated by the wind. Its just sorta sitting there, inactivated. :-)

Ahh... But it IS a wind activated device, which was the challenge.

And it does move. They take school kids out off the coast and give them the deck hand experience. They even sleep overnight on the deck. If you look closely at the pic, you can see a class on it today. Its part of the ocean institute in Dana point, ca.

Its called the Pilgrim....

 

I guess I can't give you too much crap. I was just going to ride mine on my front sidewalk and take a picture of her in front a wind chime that's hanging there. Your photo was slightly more creative than mine.
