Motorcycle Fun Current Challenge
Yep. That's her. See how fast she is, she's standing straight up. :-)
Sorry about that.
I call her Annie, after Annie Lenox who I had a slightly unhealthy attraction to back in the day.
She's a 98 CBR 600F3. She has just 950 original miles on her clock. I bout her off a friend who bought her new then garaged after 88 miles. He'd never been on a motorcycle before buying it and it scared the crap out of him so he parked it.

Well, I didn't pay anything for her. My wife paid $3,000.00 and surprised me with it as a Fathers Day gift.
The color scheme is one of the less popular ones of the time. I wasn't super crazy about it at first but it has totally grown on me.

Let's be honest, there are only 3 types of proper race bike in the world.
A TZ Yam, an RG Suzi or a Britten.
Others will be considered on their merit (Bucket Racers almost certainly don't count)

ya TK but will they allow your bike entrance to snap a pic with?

90% of them live in museums. I think there is at least a couple in the States (maybe one in the Guggenheim?)
But granted, very difficult getting a photo of your own bike alongside one of them.
I have been to Te Papa to pay homage, it's on the second floor, so no way a CBR is going up those stairs.

I actually have quite a link with the building of this bike, but this is not the appropriate place to be discussing it
