I often ask the same questions. I imagine someone getting the call, "Mrs. Smith had her baby, go change the sign."

Then again, Mr. Jones is feeling a bit ill, and is getting on in years, so if they just wait a few days the sign may not need to be changed...




Alas, the only place near me with less than 300 in population doesn't post it on their sign, though it does say they were founded in 1757. And it has a picture of a cow.

No city around here with less than 300 people.

3 days have passed.
Time for a new challenge.

 

We have a ton of them here in 'Bama. It's just finding the time to hit the road and find one that actually has a sign.

 

Was on my way to a memorial service when I saw the sign. Had to turn around and snap the pic real quick and post it while stretching my legs.

Sorry have totally missed this. No we don't. But we do have water towers. Lots of em. There actually is one just 300meters from our house but it's basically just a big pillbox in the side of a hill rather than a tower so picked this while riding from work.



Gotta think a little about the next one...
