Now; I have lived in this area for over ten years now; and I must have driven past this sign literally hundreds of times. I would have been willing to stand up in a court of law and swear that this sign said

"Welcome to Central Otago"

Either I was wrong (unlikely) or some ba5tard has stolen those letters off the sign in the last couple of weeks (much more likely).

So my sad *** effort at a "Welcome to" sign :



After my major disappointment at failing to complete the assigned task I had a brilliant idea. About another 50km down the road is another sign that I bet not too many of you guys have seen.

It took me ages to come up with that alliteration; surely worthy of a pass for my photo that quite plainly doesn't say "Welcome to".

 

Hey teeks, the challenge was not a "welcome to" sign. That was an example. The challenge was a "county line sign". If that sign is marking a county line, or international equivalent, then it's completed.
