Whilst on my ride today I finally found a lychgate so I'm happy now!

Whilst it has the architectural feel of the Bristol Polytech, I'm sure we can take your word that it is actually a prison. Well done Fryup.

Kiwi, google HMP, or Horfield prison, bristol, pic on wikipedia is taken about 10m to the left from fryup's. Sure is the same place. A farm entrance then, might even pull the car card cause it's still snowy here, don't remember it ever been done...
Never doubted his integrity Mattson, my experience of prisons is limited to watching "The Shawshank Redemption" ; kind of expected a little more razor wire, floodlights and machine gun towers.
It must be a prison for white collar criminals.
It's starting to get a bit cold down this part of the world. Saw one of the accountants that works in our building walking in today with his hands in his own pockets.

Haha bloody accountants!
I think this entrance is just a sort of outer perimeter. The rest of the perimeter has a 20ft (maybe higher) wall with cameras everywhere... was expecting somebody to come out and tell me off for taking photos lol.
About 5 minutes after taking this photo I got crapped on by a seagull. Managed to splatter my windshield, helmet, fuel tank, left knee and my chest. Got a few weird looks when I stopped at pedestrian crossings lol.
