He would have been able to stop. Someone should introduce him to that magic lever on the right bar.

Sounds like a Twin - Sv650 or something similar?

I think he panic grabbed the front brake for no good reason - but at least he was geared up.

Honest question since I am a "newbie" to riding would grabbing the front brake cause you to slide out that way. I thought this was only caused by locking up the back.

If you have your handle bar turned and grab front brake, you will go down, even when you are standing and do that, you will feel it's gonna drop.

yeah but idk.. it doesnt look like he is even trying to break that much with the front break. not to mention he was pretty straight. it looks a little more like he intentionally went down and then on the way down wasnt sure how to take the fall.. jmo though

its a streetfightered gs500. he was pushin' the bike (my wife has one, they are rediculously fun to flog), worried about getting around those cars, didn't realize they were stopping, shoulder checked- then realized he was really screwed, grabbed the brake and put it down.

look, he's alright, and i'm sure theres not a scratch's worth of damage done to that truck. it prob put him behind schedule, but all in all, thats a great outcome from what could have been a really bad situation.

I'd love to pick up a little GS500 and get my wife riding. Either that or get her on the 600 and find myself that RC51 I've been itching for.
