There is no reason to try and pass a car on the outside of a corner. You only bring stuff like that upon yourself if you put yourself in thoughs stupid positions.

ORIGINAL: jasonb

don't you think if he had a broken pelvis he wouldn't be laughing?
I've seen people walking on broken femurs and pelvises...so yea...he could be laughing.

I don't know if his pelvis is broken, but something on his left side is jacked because he was doing that "I'm jacked up" kind of laugh and he was guarding his left leg...almost not moving it and after he says something about wearing leathers, he moves and growls in pain...

Don't you think if his left leg was ok he would be up walking and laughing...at least limping?

Serves the **** right!:
It's only a shame he's not dead. If i'd been in that car I would've reversed over him just to make sure the biker scum WAS dead.

BIKERS BEWARE:
Awesome : I love to see these bikers wipe out. I hate the bikers and try to wipe one out every time I get a chance, just like you saw in this video. That car did the right thing and forced that a-hole into the guard rail. I love to pass a crash scene and see a biker involved. When I force these idiots off the road, I just keep on going and see it on the news later. Bikers, you better stay out of my way.

yeah that guywas a member over at 600rr.net ...

original thread: http://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=19526

rehab thread: http://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=20004

qoutes from the rider:
"yeah, i deserve every flame ya got. for some reason i had it in my head that the double lanes held for the rest of that turn, i went to get up next to her and by the time i realized my mistake i had no where to go. rear wheel hit the guardrail support and threw me in front of the bike and into the rail. the bike then tumbled over me and caught my leg and dragged it along for a couple feet. amazingly two docs said they could not find a broken bone anywhere  . my left knee is bashed up pretty bad, and my left ankle has a pretty little sprain going on. ray actually wasnt the one running the cam. he was standing on the inside of the turn i believe. in the vid you can see a hole poked through the inside of my left knee of my leathers. that went clear through them and into my knee. had a hole in my knee a little bigger than a nickel. dont have much movement right now, cant bear weight really. i doubt i will be walking any sooner than a week or so. starting physical therapy this week.
the bike is rashed pretty good on the left side, you can see the left mirror by my head in the vid, swingarm is rashed, footpeg broken. rear rim bent. not sure what else. i still havent seen it personally. it was a painful lesson. one well learnt. i dont know if i am still going to iraq now or not. if so, i doubt i will be riding much before i go. when i get back i plan on tracking it out."" i dont know a whole lot about my leg other than i have very limited range of motion, weight bearing ability, a lot of numbness, and what isnt numb hurts. the doctor that i had to see on base is a dam quack and told me next to nothing other than 'you have no broken bones'"

Yeah that was a dumbass move, but it goes to show even if you can ride your bike good you still need common sense above all else.

[sm=wtf.gif]Why would anyone not suicidal try to over take a car on the right, around a turn, on a mountain road? MORON. He is lucky not to have been thrown over the gaurd rail, to his death!!

What a dumb ***. I don't care about the image that guys like that give us, but I can tell you that I laugh at idiots that do that stupid **** and end up getting hurt. I'm not going to go off as a preacher and say "Ride safe" and all that stuff. But you definitely have to use your head. He obviously wasn't using his when he decided to overtake a goddamn car in the middle of a turn. And why do that **** on a road with a guard rail? Damn, that entire crew is stupid!
