Nothing like testing out a "new" 7 cylinder 2 stroke...in the flurries.

I can't decide what that'd be like to ride. I don't think the tires/suspension/brakes/frame could handle it to be honest. Allthough, I haven't looked at the build of it. I'm sure they've accounted for it (I mean if you can mate 2 H2's together and add a cylinder for good measure - I'm sure you can figure out how to brace a steel frame).

Widowmaker indeed.

The OCD part of me couldn't handle having 4 exhausts on one side and 3 on the other. :-)

Haha, I noticed it too right off the bat. As soon as I saw the 4 pipes on one side, I thought to myself "I wonder if he has a 'dummy' pipe on the other side". I think it's one of the cool things about though. I used to hate asymmetrical stuff when it came to bikes, but now I love it. It gives it that whole "character" factor.

Guy Martin Pike's Peak Bike!

Guy on Pike's Peak

And here are some other AWESOME shots from Pikes Peak practice today.

And here's a video of a crash. This is "what a good crash on Pike's Peak looks like". I can't imagine seeing that up above me. The initial rider, Tom Specht, is okay, with minor shoulder injuries. Jeff Grace, who hit the falling bike, only suffered scrapes and bruises. A&R put this out. As they say "It's not the impact from the fall that kills you at Pike's Peak, it's starvation during the fall". Truly, this may be as good as it gets for an accident.

First thing that comes to mind is the inverted forks and single sided swing are, no more head shake...............maybe.

If someone told me they were planning on painting/powder-coating their heads green, I roll my eyes at them but you're right....very cool look.
