RE: Finally pics of the aftermath of my wreck (bike this time)
Guys thanks for checking up. As an update. I am now 99.99% recuperated from my injuries. I got back to my primary job. I am a professional ballet dancer, so you might imagine that geting back was a battle.
My other job is as an IT specialist and computer instructor. So I was able to do a little before being 100 percent back.
As for my lid. I owe it my face, and probably my life. I hit head first intoa broken median barrier (the thing had been crashed into and not repaired) so it had a sharp edge. The blow was deflected into my chest by the helmet. My jacket prevented the sharp edge from going into my chest but, enogh of the sharp edge went into it so it coght my skin and it ripped a hole in my chest throgh my jacket. The hole was deap and big enogh so that enogh air got into my chest that my right lung colappsed.
Anyway, but now its all good. I'm back and as good as ever. got a nasty scarr in my chest. I started riding again also, but havent gone out more than 3 times because my wife is still freaked out about it.

Yeah, well, being an athlete, Im not one to like the feeling of being druged up. they did offer me opiates: vicodin, demerol, but in the end I ended up taking tramadol (ultraset) only to be able to sleep.
I think I did get morphine or demerol when I was in the ambulance.
As for the gear...
GEAR UP BIATCHES jajaja had to do it.
I looked like that before the accident so its all good LOL (part of the reason I always wear a helmet, I look better with it ON)
