Went this evening and picked her up! Had my buddy drop me off before he went to work and a rode it home. I had a few things I had to do after I got back so didn't get to ride during the warmest part of the day. After I got done I took it over to my buddy's house so he could check it out. He was in the middle of working on putting on GSXR integrated mirrors and had the bottom lights out bc he was gonna try to install the bottom HID's but decided to take em off and put his stock stuff back on so we could go ride. Got a little chilli, but I loved every minute of it! Put in a good hour or so of riding!

thx guys! I'll get some better pics when I get the chance. these were taken with my iphone 3gs so not the best quality. Fork seals are good, chain needs tightened, gas tank looked to be solid. altho there seems to be some sort of throttle stick going on. sometimes it doesn't want to come back down all the way. It will sort of hang around at 3k rpms for a bit. also I think the idle seems a little high. It sits at 2k rpm's. If you have any suggestions let me know as I don't know a thing! but other then that the bike seems to ride very well. I'm gonna need a new front tire here shortly, but other then that its pretty straight.

 

Also, as you can see, I picked up a nice Arai helmet! he decided he wanted to hold on to his for when he got his new bike. so I found this one at the Honda dealer and my buddy gave it to me at price. its an Arai RX-7 CORSAIR or how ever you call it. You can see it on the bike in the second picture. fit is very nice and I love it. I tried on a few lower grade helmets first and didn't like them. as soon as I put on the Arai I noticed a huge difference! I was mainly concerned with the GF being mad at me for buying it, but she was actually ok with it! I think that is what made me feel a lot better about it.
