Go to PAGE 129 of the OWNER'S MANUAL to find the "standard position" for rebound damping...

"Step 1- Turn completely clockwise until no longer turns (full hard).
Step 2- Turn the adjust COUNTERCLOCKWISE approximately 2 1/2 turns so the punch mark and adjuster align with reference mark. This is the standard position.
Step 3- Make sure that both fork legs are adjusted to the same position."

oh jesus thats even less noticeable from the pictures, you sir are good. Ill go over all that next time i see it then. On a side note i have one gold fork and one black fork, im assuming/hoping that one may have been changed due to a bad fork seal and it was easier/cheaper for just the one fork to be replaced. Maybe thats how the different settings occurred, so i plan on getting that looked at at some point too just to make sure it was done right and the front end is good, besides the suspension settings.

Motorcycle Honda CBR600RR (05) Repair Manual Download link for the shop manual/ repair manual.. "search" function doesn't work in PDF but Chapter 14 is for front wheel/suspension. Chapter 15 for rear wheel/suspension.

I had posted another link and downloaded the link and got the OWNER'S manual, but the link doesn't work anymore... and you have the owner's manual right... if you want what I have(it says "2006 owner's manual" and it is the small book) PM me and I can e-mail it to you... WERD!!!
