Look at the description of the video. He was about to be fired, but retired instead.

I still don't see where it says he got fired or retired. Just some quote of a traffic law at the beginning.

I'm glad he's gone though. I was tempted to try and find out where this happened and send a link of the video to that city's police department.

Do a web search and you will find several links about this? He did retire instead of being fired.

I'm working towards becoming a cop and these are the bad apples that cause good cops to be treated like crap.

totally agree, i have the upmost respect for good cops and the job that they do. they've helped me more than a few times




but i will flame the hell out of the bad ones for the sh*t they pull while abusing their authority



good luck on your training. i also have a friend that's going into the police academy on may 5.

Congrats on a great choice of career. My cousin is a state trooper and rides as well so he's got a good understanding of both sides. It's just like any profession, for the million good cops there's that one bad cop that gets way more publicized which is unfortunate.

I'm a 911 dispatcher for the department I want to be a cop for, and the vast majority of our officers are great. There are some iffy ones but doubt any of them would do something like this.
