Why is the police pissing at the rider if he was giving way to a car??? :O

It was definitely uncalled for. Cop got what was coming to him.

...really?? the guy on the bike was going 10 mph when he stopped. if you dont have time to stop going that slow then you obviously werent paying attention and its youre fault.

I generally give a nod to the law enforcement side but that cop clearly was concentrating more on eating his donut than he was on his driving. He tried to play the tough cop role so the rider would be intimidated and not get him in trouble.

If it had been me on the bike and he gave me that attitude he would be seeing me in court with the video evidence for the judge to view.

That's ridiculous. And you'd think that the cop would see the guys helmet cam fairly easily. Imagine what he may have acted like if the rider's camera wasn't there...

i can't believe he had the balls to get out and threaten him with tickets..

I've always been an advocate pro police as I've never had any issues with them as long as you've been polite.

In this case, the rider was completely respectful the entire time and the officer couldn't have been more wrong. I understand where the officer is coming from in the fact that he didn't want to get in trouble, but taking it out on an innocent civilian should not have been the solution. It's things like this that give police a bad name to those looking for it. I'm glad internal affairs fired him for his actions. Kudos though to the rider for remaining polite even in the face of an ignorant police officer.

that's pretty bad. a copy of that should be sent to his department.

FYI.. Rider is a friend of mine,, officer in question has voluntarily retired because of what happened.. I want police bash because I have friends on the job.. But it's clear to see what was wrong in that video.
