Default Rear Motorcycle Spool Stand

Hey fellas... got a pretty simple and dumb one here

So my buddy gave me one of his Rear Motorcycle stands, this is identical to it - http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=99701

Howeverrrr; I do not believe my bike has rear spools (sorry first bike and still note quite familiar with the terms and part identifications). I have a pretty stock 04 Honda CBR F4i.

Are these simple enough to buy from a local motorcycle dealership and install?
I found what they look like - http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=66926 and assume the 04's have a spot for them to screw right in?

I have had the same question not that long ago.

Our bikes (F4is) don't have the place to install spools. At least 01-03 ones don't have those for sure. You can weld them to the swing arm... But yours is 04, just take a look and see if you have them, and if you have them, then yes, just screw them in.
Although all RR model have those threads, it's related to the way swing arms are made, or so I was told.

no F4is have threaded inserts for spools, sorry. You can buy the optional paddle adapters though, they work fine on the swingarm.

Hmm anyone ever drilled into the swingarm? Sounds like I may have to find those paddle adapters.
