Here's a question for you Cali natives, did your Governer get his motorcycle licence yet or is he still Ridin Dirty?

man i just did some major lane splitting yesterday, basically for about 10 miles i hate when you pass someone and they beep at u it startles me

 

hes truck says bad 06 on the side...

that stands for bad driver number six.

glad your okay... The more i think about it, that would make me really angry...

 

Sorry to hear about your crash. I hate to see threads like this for one reason, the cars is always at afault. Lane splitting comes with risk. It isn't automatically the cagers fault whenever something happens, and splitting lanes is not a sure thing. Looking at those pics that truck driver had no reason to believe another vehicle was occupying that space, like it or not. I split lanes daily, and know the risks involved.

I apologize for the misrepresentation and generalization. I did not check facts first, i thought it was legal in a lot of other countries, and a couple of states so i made a vague referance since i know we havea lot of overseas riders hear as well. Glad you're alright, and only suffered minor injuries, by the looks of it that truck didn't even see you, and the way he was cutting off that semi, its as if he didn't see it either.[sm=sorry.gif]

 

I thought you'd chime in. We live in the same area and no one around here ever checks for bikes. I have even heard everyone I knowthat dosen't ride say they never check for bikes.

Thats why I ride with titanium knuckle gloves and a lot of cars in Orange County are missing side view mirrors.
