Default Aggressive motorcyclist ends up in truck sandwich

Thought this video was worth sharing. It seemed odd to me that he ended up in that situation. Remarkable lack of forward vision, you can see the trucks side by side in the distance even at the start of the video.

**** **** ****...

When you ride like that... That's the kinda of thing you look for!

Was lucky he didn't get dragged under.

First: Thank God he's alright.

Second: What I think happened was - he didn't see the trucks stopped due to traffic, and then didn't have enough time to stop. When he realized he didn't have enough room to stop, he decided to go through them - and didn't have the skill/space required to do so. I'm sure he was trying to make a cool little video, and wasn't riding to the best of his "awareness" abilities.

It sucks to see someone go down period - no matter how dumb they're riding. Sure, a guy like that deserves the back of his head slapped. But remember, he's a fellow rider at the same time. We (I know I have at least) have all done some things on sportbikes that we probably aren't proud of (riding like a jackass at one point or another). Use this as a prime example of remembering to be aware of what's going on down the road. Traffic could be stopped right around the curve (or in this case, just in front of you).

Never ride faster than you can brake. He out rode his braking abilities. There was a lot more to be had from the front brakes.

He was too busy repeating s*** s*** s*** to go looking for it.

Yeah, gotta say he probably earned everything he got there.

Having said that, I don't believe I can see brake lights on, on either truck.

Just a wee tip, if for any reason you find yourself at a complete stop on the open road, keep your foot on the brake to get those brake lights glowing.

He was not looking far enough ahead or ' reading' the traffic correctly. Too busy looking cool for the cars he was overtaking to see the halted trucks.

Ride safe guys.

Cheers, SB

Glad he is ok but I hope he starts paying more attention and takes a motorcycle class also. Very lucky he didnt run into the back of one of the trucks due to being not very focused.
