I saw an old cb350 the other day on my local CL, only wanted $550 for it. Allegedly "only thing wrong with it is the kick start", which probably means lots of motor work. I wanted it badly, but the wife veto'd it by the time I got to "I found a bike...."

I wanted to do almost just what the OP is doing with this one. Looks great. I was hoping to replicate the bike from "The girl with the dragon tattoo" movie.

OP, looks great! Can't wait to see it finished.

looks like a cb750 though. Everything w as immaculate, had a nice gold pin stripe going around all the body work. That rust on the end of the tail looked kind of intentional cuz everything else was flawless. I loved it.
there is easily over 5000 worth of mods on that bike, and yes, it is ungodly beautiful.

edit: i believe it's a cb550, or possibly a sohc 750 yes

word of advice:
use legit automotive clearcoat from a dealership/body shop
or gas will rape you.
