Default 1978 Honda CB400T CAFE!

alrighty this is a friend of mine's cb400t
its in gorgeous shape, and he wants me to do a cafe build on it,
ill get the specs on it in the morning!

Yeah, not buying into this mate. I think I have a genetic aversion to CB360/400's because that's what the Traffic Police used to run here back in the late 70's and 80's.

So easy to shut them down with a Z1, it wasn't even challenging.

it has a different feel than the inline4's for sure.
a bit slower yea, but the guy riding it is new to bikes and honestly this is a great first bike. she kicks over smooth and everything is in just great shape even down to the rubber

It's cute. My first bike was a 79 cb400. It was fun, handled well, and cheap.
All good qualities in a bike.

Having seen your work, meow, this should be an interesting build,
with some kickin' results.

Been haunting the CL for a 400f in decent shape, for a project.
My beastie F3 is pretty much down the maintenance and 'just ride it' status.
So it's time for new horizons, in the garage.

yep, i had my first impressions of this bike, but was taken in a different direction
less torque and power at the bars than the 550 for sure,
but she's an elegant ride, smooth, and relaxing.

removed the front gauges,
doing single speedo + 550 handlebar indicator setup.
removed exhaust and whatnot, prep still.
