I say do a national sales tax and do away with income tax. Still get screwed either way but the pain will seem less.
how would that work? state sales tax now. federal income tax. state that dont have sales tax, have a state income tax. different taxations, your state pays for your roads and schools, your country pays for wars.

Yeah this crap gets old. These people get on my nerves.

Even though my beliefs are what they are, there isn't anything anyone can do about it. It's all about control. Healthcare, education, and finance. Taxes are just another means of controlling you without you fully realizing it. You don't want to fight it because they make it appear as if it's for a reason (roads, schools, hospitals).

It's bigger than our government, it's global. It would be this way regardless of how we felt about our roads, etc.

"The best way to keep a human from an uprising is to keep them in a prison in which they cannot see, taste, touch, hear or smell. If you can do that, they'll never fight to get out." KidCr3nshaw (maintaining Free Will)

That prison is our world government, politics, society, and it's made possible by the removal of Free Will.

The best way to hide something is to place it on display for all to seeand call it something else. Then we will call it something else and believe it is something else.

"Those who would give up their essential liberties for temporary safety deserve neither." Ben Franklin (high ranking Freemason).

actually there are a few county health centers and such but most hospitals at least here in MI are privately owned.

The way i understood he said you should not be taxed on your labor, your weekly paycheck because your are trading labor for pay if you watch it again its in there so when you look at your check and see what you made then after all the damn taxes what you bring home. Just remember the last time it was a tax over tea and we all know what happened then. I could get on a serious rant but I won't not enough time in the day.

You have ridiculous lawsuits to thank for that, and all the rising costs of insurance and a zillion other things for that matter. Blame lawsuits and scams. The cillicosis scam cost insurance companies in the billions and shut down hundreds of practices, and thats only one of many, many examples. Your typical hospital probably has dozens of lawsuits levied against it a year, sometimes settling for a quick pay-day, just to get the lawyers off thier back. Sure, some are legit, but many are not, and even if the ones that are legit, I don't think a dude needs millions in compensation cause he didn't read the warning labels on his medication, or he fell down some steps cuse the orthopedic boot was defective. C'mon. I call the people "Freefers" Free-for-Nothins....lookin to make an easy buck at our premium payin expenses

.........not this again. First with police, then taxes, what's next? (sorry, you're a cool dude, but I get peeved with the "blame the government for everything" conspiracy jargon).

not much of a way around the tax issues though. I mean it would be great if we only paid for our property taxes (which these jerks don't seem to think is fair) and tax even more on what we buy at stores- skip the income tax. this would be sweet since there are so many under the counter jobs and alliens who get out of paying anything but sales tax...
