Hi,

Just thought I would let you know about the little 2 day trip around north Wales and Snowdonia on New Years Eve and Day.

2 days riding around Snowdonia with Butcherspencil on very quiet roads - 376 miles in 2 days and 1 night :-)

Wonderful part of the country for riding even in the middle of winter.

Main towns/spots on route were as follows: Home, Bala, Barmouth, Harlech, Ffestiniog, Betws Coed, Corwen and back home

Fantastic stuff BK - looks to be beautiful countryside.

How did the weather treat you? I can see damp roads in one of the pics.

New years eve was a bit damp with light drizzle until early hours. Then dry all New Years day. Unfortunately Wales gets it fr share of rain due to the mountains and Irish sea.

 

I personally think that the rain is all part of the charm!
