Default Hello from Wales

Hiya all.

Thought I would introduce myself for a laugh.

Just got hold of a crashed CBR600 earlier this year. been slowly getting it back on the road.
Now, let me just move back to DEC 4th 2012 - only ayear ago, I was massively crippled by a bin wagon whilst on my GPZ900 Ninja and I am currently still in a wheelchair for the most part, but use crutches as much as I can, and, as of 3 days ago, I had my first ride on the CBR ever.

Not bad considering both the bike and I have been written off ( Not the same accident LOL )

Anyway, thats by the by

I have owned a number of bikes, I seem to always come back to Honda though. The last Honda was my GL1200 and before that, the VT500, both great bikes, this CBR is a real howler with that ridiculous exhaust on it, Its also naked and has flt bars - due to the accident and that I have restored it on a budget of eff all

Anyway, bugger it. That will do.

Im in need of sorting 2 electrical issues and so I will post them up right away and see what happens!

Welcome to CBRF... Sorry to hear about the smash up... But glad to hear that your well enough to get around and still ride... There should be a section for your bike around here somewhere... Head on over there and the gang should be able to sort you out...

Hi & welcome to CBRF!
Sorry to hear about the accident but at least you are able to get around now.
Here's hoping for you to get back to 100% and riding more.

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Glad you're on the mend - although slowly, and managed to throw a leg over the CBR. Post some pictures when you can.

Cheers, SB

Sit ti Fat Rakoon. Croeso i CBRF.

As everyone else has said, what a crap present for Christmas last year. We're all very glad you're getting over it and glad you've come along here to join in the CBR fest this forum represents.

Where about in Wales are you? DOn't forget to update your details. You may find yourself surrounded by CBRs before you know it. There hasn't been one made yet that doesn't yearn for some of those lovely Welsh roads. Mine does constantly.

As for your bike problems, there's plenty of knowledgable help here. Just ask and the answer will be forthcoming, usually sooner rather than later.
Your bodily problems may require a different forum but if you need encouragement, this is the No. 1 spot.

Jump in, have fun.

Thanks for the moral support guys.

Nice to know you are with me.

Yeah, the story, while I will be more than happy to share with you the gory details, there are 2 reasons why I have not.

1 Its a CBR forum, not a listen to me forum
2 You probably heard it all before from X,Y or Z

Anyway, update my info? - Sure, I will get on with that in a few.

Pics? Of what me, my bike or both?

Sure thing, again, I need to get the kids to take a few snaps, but for the time being, I will have a look on my phone at what I got for now.

See you soon guys.

Welcome to CBRF! I'm terribly sorry to hear about your bad accident last year (and I'm sad for the loss of your GPZ), but I'm thrilled you haven't given up on riding. That's great. Post some pictures of your bike when you get a chance. I hope she gets completely road worthy very easy for you.
