To my motorcycle friends
Who has ridden a crazy *** ride before, for example to Tennessee to key west Florida? i have a chance to pick up my friends parents either hyabusa or zx6r to take to spring break. How sore will i be haha
How many days are you planning for this adventure?
well were leaving thursday night with a jeep and a car like 10 of us going. Then stopping in tenessee probably at like 6 or 7 in the morning and hanging out with a girls parents who own the bikes. Then they said we can cruise around on them and what not then if we want drive em down to florida and stay in florida until saturday
I've done about 2k+, in a 5-day week. From Tulsa>Louisville, KY (picked up a passenger)>Chicago, IL then
back to through Louisville (dropped off my buddy) and on home to Tulsa.
I just made sure to leave a day, at the end of the run, to un-wind/rest up.
Yeah, I was sore/wind-burned and tired, but it was a life-time experience.
The pay-off to the trip...David Bowie at the Rosemont, in Chicago.
Just be cool and get your feel for the strange (to you) bike, wear the gear
and don't make an ambulance ride the most memorable part of the trip.
Don't forget to take a couple of fuel-bottles (like for camping) with you.
Gas stations can be funky distances apart, so always fill up if you're past
the 2/3rd's mark, and hope they're just piece of mind.

If you're going to be riding a bike that you aren't used to sitting on you will probably experience some discomfort just because of the riding position. Also, remember that this isn't July and the weather might not be all that warm. Good luck on your trip.
