Default Just got back from the Dragon

Well Im just waking up after Getting Back from a 12hr drive down to the dragon. I must say it was a very good trip. 311 turns aint no joke. I swear my nuts were on my throat through all the turns. I saw a couple of CBr's Wondering if any you guys were up there Sat. There was a Blk Cbr600rr With a red cover on the headlight. This dragon really put my riding skills to the test. I was nervous at first not knowing what turns are comming but then rested at Deals gap and had a bite to eat. On The second run back I felt more comfortable and was handling the turns pretty good. I recomended The dragon to Everyone that has a pasion for riding.

Just returned from my first and only pass. Fast weekend dash -Cincinnati, OH- Franklin, NC, via I-75 to Knox, I-40 to 66 to 441 thru Smoky Mt. National Park to Franklin. The Park is worth the 4+hr interstate pounding by itself. Franklin to Highlands, NC on 64. If traffic is light this is the mini dragon. About 7 miles of this leg is tight L-R-L with some elevation dialed in as well. This was a good warm up for Deals. The Mrs. and I got in a bite, took in the show at the local theater, and did the return to Franklin at midnight in the dark. That was a real challenge. Spent the night in Days Inn, Franklin. Worst motel ever. Sunday AM headed west on 64 to 129. That was some pretty road. Great vistas in all directions, wish we had an extra day for this! Road was in good shape, lots of nice sweepers and traffic was light. Connected with 129 and made it to the Dragon. Now we are two-up, full 3 pc GIVI set on the '94 CBR1000F, and lookin at 11 miles of tire squirmin on this old dog. We didn't have time to do the reverse run this trip so I can't say I like one direction better than the other but we had a blast doin the NC to TN run. We had one slow down mid run as someone got bit and put it in the dirt. Saw an ambulance responding as we neared the end. Hope it wasn't too bad.
Continued out on 129 back to I-40 and I-75 N. Sunday was close to 500 miles and some major monkey butt by the time we made home after 10-11 hours out.
Apology to anyone we held back on the Dragon and thanks to those that shared tips and stories.
