This is short notice but I thought I would check to see if anyone would be interested in any sections of this ride! I am considering the following route. The wife has not approved yet but I am working on that.

1. Leave Phx 6/30 to Lake Havasu 230 miles
2. 7/1 Lake Havasu to Auburn, CA 600 miles
3. 7/2 Auburn over to coast Hwy 1 up to Tillamook Est 630 miles
4. 7/3 and 7/4 to Portland and visit family 150 miles
5. 7/5 to Boise, ID Est 450 miles
6. 7/6-7/7 Return to PHX Est 950 miles

Total estimated mileage is over 3K.

I plan to stay with friends and family at all stops unless extra stops are required due to conditions.

Travelling light with clothes, tools, snacks and main meals in restaurants.

I am riding a 1987 Honda Hurricane 1000.

Crazy idea but will have a transition time between jobs and want to go for it!

 

I'm in Boise, if you do go to Boise try to take a little time to ride up to Idaho City its about 30 miles out of boise and really neet place to stop grab some food and just chill.

 

1987? what if your bike breaks down?
