We have been traveling around a lot, went to the Croft Motorcycle racing, have been walking in the countryside a lot and went to..............
Castle Howard!
My online persona (Lord Sebastian Flyte's bear was Aloysius), the name of my house (Ryder), and many other aspects of my life have been influenced by Brideshead Revisited - the Evelyn Waugh novel written in the latter part of WW II - and the 1981 series with Jeremy Irons and Anthony Andrews was filmed predominantly at Castle Howard.
Mrs SB with our hosts Dick and Jane Ellis. Dick is a British caver we met in Vietnam.
