northern loop trip in spring
We took the ferry from Nova Scotia to PEI. Bikes were stapped down next to all the trucks on the lower deck. First night was a late arrival so we stayed in a Charlottetown downtown motel. The only eventful thing was experiments with "Newfee Screech"
A more north and we set up camp right on the beach at Cavendish. Great day, great place great ride out to North Cape light house and wind farm.
Our departure from PEI was via the Confederation Bridge. Very cool run out on the elevated road.

Sorry Dragon, Mother Nature has the best of us and drove us south from PEI...but not before we had a perfect day to blast our way over to the North Cape.
Our last day in Nova Scotia was a busy one too. First all the waay east to Louisberg to visit the Fort , then all the way west to ride the ferry to PEI.
Tomorrow we will be at Mt. Washington in NH. Mother Nature still spittin our way so we will see if we climb the hill.
First some pics of our resort stay in Beddeck

Made it as far as Owego, NY tonight with 4063 on the trip counter. On my own again. Last leg tomorrow. Thanks for a great time guys. Next time we are all required to bring BreathRight Strips so we don't rattle the pictures on the motel room walls.
Here are a few pics from end of the first day. Campsite at Four Mile Creek, Youngstown, NY right on Lake Ontario. My campsite was backed up to the water.

Unable to post on trip due to not taking my laptop. I was packing light, I was not saving those heavy gas receipts either. I clocked 3,099 mi total. Nice ride guys, lets do it again. U.P.????? Back to moose country?
After saying goodby to cb2cbr I unloaded my bike and went for a ride, a short one.
Some extra photos.
(1) Our girls rearing up and ready to go.
(2) Our neighbors on the ferry. We loaded first and then they loaded in behind us.
(3) Mt. Washington Hotel
(4) The bridge to Sydney
(5) The reason we were thrown in the brig. The money goes in the wishing well, not out. How were we suppose to know?
We spent the extra money on some great hot spiced rum in building #48 at the fort.
