Hunting Uncle Ho, The 'Bears Vietnam Journey
No doubt

You're concern is touching TK and Woof.............thanks.
Tonight is the last night in Saigon, Mrs SB and I have been out for a lovely dinner with a few Tiger beers, now getting ready to pack and head off in the morning for 24 hours of travel back to the (now) sunny, Adelaide Hills. I must admit, we both are not looking forward to it, I will have to start at 5 AM the morning after we get home assessing stonefruit and mangoes at the Pooraka market...................
Who'd work for a living when you could do this instead???
We are going to miss Vietnam and already are planning a return in the not-too-distant future. Any other guys want to come back with us?
I had a complete computer meltdown a couple of days ago, pressed a button that I shouldn't have, and have just recovered the operating system, but have lost all the photographs and videos from Vietnam (not to mention a hell of a lot of work material)
I'd like to thank you all for your support - for following the blog and making us laugh with your comments. You guys are great!
I took a 3 or 4 minute video of the traffic going home from work just on dusk tonight and will post that and the recovered (hopefully) photographs for the last few days in Ha Noi and Saigon - they are completely different cities, different feel both from the political and commercial sense and we decided tonight if we worked in Vietnam, Ha Noi it would be.
So, guys and gals with that we will sign off from the blog in Vietnam and as we have an 8 hour stop over in Singapore may check in from there.
I would also like to acknowledge my beautiful travelling partner, who took the trip, good and bad in her stride with a grace that can only elude the 'Bear. She is my hero.
Cheers, The Travelling 'Bears

Thank you both for the journey. What an adventure! You inspire with your spirit and sense of wonder. Your humor and companionship shine, even in the monsoon like rains. What a team, and we are so lucky to have been part of this trip. All the best to you on the way back home...and the computer recovery.
Home
Two very tired, very dishevelled (and probably very smelly) travellers picked up at the airport by me Ma, debriefed at my folks place over a coffee, then slept most of the afternoon.
We had an 8 hour stop-over in Singapore and did a tour of the city which was just beautiful. As we both haven't stayed in that city for a few years, it made it back on the to-do list again.
Now, to get into the mindset to get up at 4 AM tomorrow morning and head into the markets
I'll see tonight how many of the 'wiped' photos can be retrieved.
Cheers, SB
PS: I did sneak out into the shed and hug and start the CBR1000F - a few jabs of the starter and it purred into life

Good to see you have come back from the dark side Seb, welcome home; relax, kick back and take the time to savor your adventures.
Well done mate, you have obviously kept many of us enthralled and looking forward to your daily posts. We're all going have to get a new hobby now.

Robyn and Kerri live in Mount Torrens - about 15 or so kilometres from us and are trying to join CBRF but are having problems getting past the enrolment details - the date of birth gives them grief and throws them out. Any Administrator is more than welcome to look into this.
Now, just about all the promised requirements have been met from the Vietnam Journey. We know TK got his postcard as did Montana Matt - Woof did you get yours? And Hawkwind I will post that picture in the next week.
Cheers, SB

And while I'm reminiscing about our fantastic journey I do have one regret...............
That I did not buy this exquisite padded derriere and

Wear them outside my kevlar jeans
I would have looked very, very special
Cheers, SB
