Of course I had mate, just never one to let a chance go by (wow, there's a song from waaaay back).

Decided not to go with the padded bum thing, a bit leather chaps and Harley for my taste but I'm sure one of the others will take up the cause on that one.

Must say, very excitedly checked in to see the final photos, are you still in data recovery mode?

 

Yes and no.

Data recovery finalised and computer reformatted and all programs reinstated. Now have 450 GB of raw data to trawl through including 15,000 photos. Probably salvaged about 75% of the trip photos, but they are all jumbled up, and triples of everything due to me saving in two files and then resizing Ho hum.

And we've got Christmas Day here on the 16th so Mrs SB and I can disappear north to the Flinders Ranges and Corner Country for 10 days in the LandPanzer whilst everyone else pigs out on Turkey and Christmas Pud!

Then there's the solar hot water system to put on the roof and plumb in, the shed to finish and the pergola to empty for 'Christmas' Day dinner.

Never a dull moment!
