Wow what an amazing machine these cbr1000f are. Finally got to take my old girl out on some what of a decent ride only 426ks of highway riding. Well me bum got numb lol and got the old pins and needles in the hands (think I'm gripping to tight) apart from that was an awesome and enjoyable ride. Seen other bike and here in oz we give a nod to each other as we pass to say hello. Got a lot of good remarks of its condition when I stopped for fuel too and even an invite to ride with some ransoms dude which was really coco I thought. As for the bike she didn't miss a beat at all very happy sitting on the speed limit and a few time well over hehehehe

 

Jealous. We got -40C and a good foot of snow up here. I've ridden my share of big bikes and even compared to serious tourers like the Goldwing or ST, these things just soar on the highways. If you can manage the weight they're pretty fun in the twisties too

Those stock grips are tough as nails though, at least if they're the same as the set that came with the 87

Up here we usually wave on the highway, and even 90% of harleys'll return the courtesy, especially if it's a nice day with no traffic

 

Was around the 30c mark here. Hahaha surprisingly I got a few wave from Harley riders too. Aw yeah she is heavy but that doesn't bother me lol and she love them long sweeping bends too fell in love with her even more lol I know call her the mistress heheheh.
The grips have been replaced at some point but well worn in lol. Think I'll get some new ones soon something that will take up some vibrations

 

Oh and I can't wait to get her into the twisty stuff
