Default First (street) Bike, First Ride, my turn this time =D

all i have to say is WOW.

brought her home today, called and got my insurance squared away then took her out!
met up with a buddy and i have over 100 miles on her already!

its so nimble and light its amazing, i never thought that i would be in over my head, it seems very controlable
(keep in mind i havent gotten it past 8K RPM)

the twisties were great, long sweepers at 65-70 mph = amazing.
got on the freeway for a bit, gets kinda squirly when there is alot of wind blowing.. (weater wise)
looks down and i was doing 90 at one point 0_o

ahhh anyways, heres some pics.

btw
18 (yes i payed for ALL of it myself..)
some previous street experience (uncles katana 750, and those crappy shadow 250's at the MSF course.)
5 years dirt experience

honestly, i wouldn't worry about it getting stolen. it's a very difficult bike to steal. case in point: http://youtube.com/watch?v=D96QM-lzLM8

btw, black is the way to go, imo...though visibility from cars (even cars just backing into a parking space) sucks.
