Fall 2011 trip to The Gap
Last spring I kicked off an effort to organize a trip to the gap. Others jumped in to coordinate etc. and it turned out to be a ball for all of those who attended. Sadly, I wasn't one of those people because Nashville was under water that month. I won't miss this one!
I'm planning a multi-week trip this late-summer/fall, and I'd love to kick it off with a few days around The gap with you all. Whadaya say? Let's start up some chat about it here, and when we get some details nailed down I'll ask for this post to be edited so the concrete info can be found in the top post.
What say you?

Late August / early Sept probably works the best for me; not sure exactly when the leaves start turning (and falling on the blind corners) down there.
Putting on speed bleeders (yup, all 6) and new EBC pads on the '93 1000FP next week after a thorough bleed and squeaky clean discs.
Front lever has been feeling awfully mushy this year, and Spiegler lines all around would break the bank on an LBS bike...

Hey Dave, I like to spend a day or two there in October on the way to Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, AL. This year that is Oct. 7-9th. Indy has expressed interest for that as well. It's a ways out there yet but ...
