Daytona Trip
Rode the hurricane to Daytona for last 4 days of bike week. Left Pensacola on the morning of the 10th, rode about 7 hrs, with stops, and no trouble from the Cane. Had clocked 1300 miles by the time we got home on the 13th.
I had some concerns about the mileage (46250) on the bike but none were realized. Used 0 oil, even cruising at 80 for most of the trip.
These are really well made bikes.

I received some very troubling news from one of our biker brothers while in Daytona for bike week. I was informed that the "flashing" was halted about three years ago, a very sad state or affairs for the biking community. (well it was for me, anyway!) There for four days and not even a nip. Glad I met some great people or the ride would have been just "fun", rather than "great", lol
Am planning to go next year and try some new fishing/hunting spots, so to speak.

He's not actually my brother, we just have the same last name, and the same mother and father.
