CBR Forum get together Spring 2010!
Try riding a Norton Commando from Chicago to La, and then across to Galveston.
No fairings, map taped to the tank. GI shelter half to sleep under by the bike next to the road. Met some great people and the bike never missed a beat.
And a knapsack for all I could carry.
You have a wonderful country and I met some truly memorable people, and not one harsh word the whole trip, incl being escorted by a chapter of the "Angels" on my way into LA.
Hmmmmmm - what was that about trailers..............................pffft

Will this do?
I road a 175 Yamaha dirt bike two up for 60 miles (one way) on 4 lane blacktop in heavy traffic with a buttload of traffic lights and then had to wait about 5 hours for my nards to descend again. When I realized I better start back before it got dark, I wasn't looking forward to it.
Lucky to be alive.
Is that the spirit? No?

That's gunna make the Skyway a tough one for ya Sprock. It's like 56 miles from Robinsville to Tellico. On the plus side, you could just set up camp on the east end and cruise with brother Sparkie!

Well we could just set Sparkie up with the Flip Cam and have him ease off
the throttle a bit to keep you in the FraMe
....lol
