Leaving Saturday for Sturgis on my CBR, anyone else going? Fun ride, there are some great roads up there. I know it is much better when all the pogues aren't there playing like bikers, but the carnival atmosphere might be fun too. PM me if you are there or are going.....

 

I went, rode over 900 miles to get there. Rode the hills and canyons and had great fun. No issues with my 1000F, except it ate a front tire (cupping). Mileage varied from 35 to 47, depending on the wind and how heavy the throttle was used. Average cruising speed of 82 mph. Carried all my gear in the two Givi 45 liters and a duffel strapped to the pillion. If you have not been to the Black Hills, you must go. beautiful and fun riding.
