so if i were to get one, i assume its best just to get the books??

Totally agree about the cheesiness. Still, it's stuff we already know but you do pick up habits. Next time you ride make a mental note of what you're doing and most times it's not what you're supposed to be and the habits are there. It needs to become second nature.

I'd say get both if you can. There are things in books in general that sink in better when read over and munched on for a minute.

Another EXCELLENT book is Sport Riding Techniques: How To Develop Real World Skills for Speed, Safety, and Confidence on the Street and Track by Nick Ienatsch. In book preference, I actually recommend it a little above TotW series.

i took note of those in the other post you made a while back, i will be ordering them all shortly.

THIS DVD IS THE SH## i got it last months and i took my nbike out the first time i could and i relized every thing i was doing wrong. i have improved 100% and still going . buy it buy it. this dvd is worth a 100 bucks. i was thinking about getting the book as well just to carry with me . not sure if i am going to yet lol.. but def a good investment ..

I just downloaded the dvd. There are a lot of things I dont quite understand just yet. (I have only been on a bike for like 1.5 hrs in total). I guess practice makes everything perfect. This site is awesome!!!
