Personally I could care less about the law and it high beam rules , but I think its worth mentioning that if a car or truck cant see your low beams , well you are a gonna anyways ...lolol
Low beams are very visible in daylight , so I would be saying that they are fine ....and that IMO , high beam just **** off the occasional driver coming in the other direction , so why bother ...
I use low beams ...

Reading back through these post replies , I think that a few very sound pieces of advice are worth a bump ...
The guys below touched on these points in there posts and I would like to say again ...
Riding is just like being in a battle .(the battle to stay alive).. ride like all others on the roads are the enemy and you must not let them kill you ...
I have been ridding for a ton of years and what feels like a bloody million miles ... and every time I go out , I ride by these rule's...
No matter how good you think you are getting or how long you have been ridding.... remember my words here and the statements below from some very smart riders ... and you will win the battle and get to live a long life ...

Riding like the cagers don't see you will help you a lot. That way when they do something stupid you are already out of their way or getting there.

First bike? My advice is to stay afraid for a long time. (Or if you prefer, if not fear, then RESPECT.)

Enjoy your riding, but always think to yourself as you are heading out each time ..
My bike will more than likely NOT cause me to crash .... I WILL be more than likely the cause of any crash that I may have...
Take it easy , ride within YOUR limits , not your mates limits ....YOURS !!
Have fun , but remember also to stay alert to all other traffic on the roads.
You may be a safe responsible rider , your bike may be well maintained and checked over , but that other driver may not be as careful as you !!!
