Joe Rocket Mesh Jacket, Joe Rocket Gloves, Trekking boots - calf high (looking for a more suitable/affordable replacement) HJC modular helmet and... usually cargo pants or Jeans - looking to find kevlar reinforced jeans for a reasonable price.
One of the most important purchases though - my auto darkening rider's sunglasses ($35), wouldn't wanna be caught w/o them!

Now i'm looking for a bike-to-bike intercom solution.... any way pointers - PLEASE PM ME!

F.

Kinda old thread, but if you're looking to wear jeans, i wear draggin jeans.. they're not the most comfy, but probably more comfy than your standard riding pants. I got the optional CE rated knee and hip guards.. my tip is skip the hip guards. They breathe well and have plenty of kevlar around the knee and *** areas, where you'll be doing the most tearing up. The rest of my gear is pretty standard, teknic mesh jacket, joe rocket prostreet boots (which i can actually play basketball in, and the only reason I tried is because I visited family and didn't bring a pair of neakerS), alpine star.. umm. the gloves that don't look like hawk handler gauntlets and that bottom of the shoei full face.

I had an Icon mainframe helmet before and it worked great. I don't know why people rag on Icon gear so much here, but even though it was heavy and loud, it's pretty comparable to the shoei i'm using now, imo.

I think I need to dig out the pix of dudes 'tennis shoe' flying thru the air. I can not stress enough how you need to protect your feet, and sneakers just does not cut it in any aspect. Get some kind of boots fellas, doesnt matter if its rider specific as long as its a boot and covers the ankle. Now a good riding boots cant be beat n you wont regret buying them. But I know how some of you rather look cool than wear proper gear. To you I hope you like the canes, crutches, and prosthetics...
