I took note when you guys said they were closed and saved DGY and Fox Valley Cycles in my map bookmarks on my phone for they say I have some extra dough and either want to race or go on a long trip and keep my feet safe (to warrant that expense) but I'll definitely check them out. I know Chicago Cycle was competitively priced unless something was clearance online... Then there was the sales tax, but I would still buy it there if they had it in my size and color to show my appreciation for them carrying so much for women.

I highly recommend DGY. When I bought my boots I also picked up a helmet. Since I was spending a lot, I asked for a discount. I'd have to look at the receipt to see exactly what discount she gave me, but it took care of at least the tax, maybe a little bit more. I had tried on a bunch of helmets and bought a Shark, then after we left I remembered that the Shark was the one that fit a little funny. I tried it on again and knew it wouldn't work so we took it back. Even though she said they usually only give store credit she gave me a refund. I also bought my jacket there last summer.
Fox Valley wasn't bad, I didn't find anything there though. There was only one sportbike in the whole place and I don't think anyone ever said a word to us the whole time we were there.
Edit: Sorry I forgot, they did talk to us when we asked where the restroom was... I don't want to put them down it really wasn't a bad place, just not my type of place.

I chose 'other' on account of I have a mixture. I have Spidi Hurricane CE-certified pants, Alpinestars motocross boots (some 15 - 20 year old Tech 4s), an Xelement jacket w/CE-certified armor, some Joe Rocket gloves, and I think I'm about to complete a swap for an Arai helmet. I have a hard time finding a helmet that fits me w/o giving me a headache after 15 - 20 minutes (sometimes 5!) of riding, and I believe the Arai will address that for me. I hope so, anyway! I'm also big on the Snell 2010 rating.
