Just wondering what kind of gear everyone here uses. I've seen quite a few videos where people only wear jeans and a t-shirt with only a helmet for protection...I hope nobody here does that. I wear full gear and can't seem to understand why anyone wouldn't. I did, however, spend about $1300-1400 on gear, but it's better than the alternative. Here's what I wear and please list what you guys and gals wear, even on a short trip out.

Shoei RF-1000 w/ clear and smoke shield
Joe Rocket Blaster 2.0 leather armored jacket
Joe Rocket super moto gloves
Joe Rocket Alter Ego pants with armor and also have Joe Rocket Speedmaster Leather pants with armor and knee pucks
Diadora race boots, don't know the model
I also custom modified a CamelBak into a spine protector with dense foam

 

Shoei RF 1000 w/clear & smoke
Icon timax jacket
Icon timax gaunlet gloves
Icon anthem jeans
No boots still look around just wear my sneakers.

 

I have a good bit of gear, none of it was cheap. I figure I don't have a $2 body, I'm not gonna buy $2 gear!

Right now I ride in jeans, but I'll eventually look into the fit of the Icon Jeans since they have more protection.

Hey 929,

I just bought the SIDI Vertigo Corsa "Air" boots from a local store and I was wondering do you get hot in you regular Vertigo Corsa's? I am thinking about exchanging them for the non air version because I am not totally liking the way the airs look.

 

To be honest I really don't have a lot of gear.
I got my FirstGear Mach II jacket (seen below), some Honda gloves and my lid.
I gotta get me some stuff......lol

I have only had them in cold weather but so far they are not hot.
