For instance if you go inside to a restaraunt. Do you just hang it on the handlebars, take it with you, etc? I don't have the seat lock on my F4i so I can't lock it onto the seat compartment hook. Just curious what everyone else does.

 

I either put it on the seat lock or bring it with me. I carried it to class for most of the last 3 years.

 

I typically take my helmet w/ me.

You could get one of these universal helmet locks & mount to your subframe...

 

always carry it with me wherever i go

 

going in someone's house or work or something i take it in, if i'm at a store in town or somewhere it'd be inconvenient to pack it around, then i lock it under the seat.

 

Take it with me, if it is a store and the parking lot is clean I just put it on the ground. Want to get a lock for the subframe in the future.

 

that's a good question, as I ask myself that alot. In some areas ppl will rip the helmet off the locks thinking they got something when really they just broke the helmet ripping the strap - not worth anything haha, but its enough to **** you off and you have to still get home or whatnot now with no helmet. I would have to say it just depends on were you are or how bad is the area you are in, and how expensive is your gear.

 

I keep mine on, too much $$ and you can never be too safe!!

On a serious note, I wouldn't lock mine to my seat unless I could keep an eye on it, like standing outside near my bike. I have heard of people's helmets getting cut off. I either carry it with me, or continue riding.

 

I carry imine with me. $300+$150 for blue-tooth intercom system.
That's almost a weeks take-home.

I just don't trust my fellow-man that much.

i take it with me for the moment, as its a brand spanking new helmet
its to bad, that a top case looks so darn ugly on a cbr. its the best way
to lock a helmet.
