Default water and leather

Got new boots and gloves and I've heard (recently) to break em in was to dunk em in hot water and wear them throughout the day. I guess when they dry they become customized. Just wondering how valid this info because I'm not comfy breaking em this way. I was always taught to do it old school and just wear them until they conform to hands and feet.

I broke in a brand new suit in 2 days down at the gap.wore the suit about 12-14hrs each day in 95*+ heat, at the end of each day I could squeeze the sweat out of it.

fits like a glove!

I wouldnt dunk em, just wear them
